“Always Hot” Not “Instant Hot.”

It still takes time to get the water to your faucets, just like it always has. Tankless water heaters provide constant flow of hot water at the desired temperature. Not "instant" hot water in fact most tankless water heaters have about a 10-second ignition delay. This means that even with a circulating pump you can expect a short delay. If you need a recirculation pump it should not be so big that it wastes energy and causes erosion of the system piping. We suggest 1 to 2 Gallons Per Minute of circular flow.
